Title pretty much says it all.

I first signed up for this account just over 4 years ago as a means to let other people see my art, and also to find great artists and improve my own techniques through observing how they presented things. Over the period that I've been on this account, I've seen so many great artists and artworks, and my drawing has improved so much in these four years. I've met friends with this account who I'm so thankful for. This account has been with me for my treks through various fandoms, and there's probably plenty of evidence of my insanity around here too ;D

When I signed up for this account at 14 years old, I was in a stage where I'd just discovered that my favourite mythical creature was a phoenix, and so by my reasoning, a baby phoenix would be possibly the cutest thing possible. Hence my username. Lil-baby-phoenix has served me for many years now, but I've been thinking for quite a while now that it's time I left behind the chosen name of a 14 year old with absolutely no self-esteem and a penchant for non-reality for something I am more comfortable using now, at 18. I've already been using this name in several other places and I think it's time I made the change on dA as well.
